Components

Five components comprise the set of ten-frame number tiles:

With the components of a tile-of-100, students can build to ten and build with tens to create a three-layered structure that represents 100. This same structure can represent a unit of 1 with its underlying tenths and hundredths.

A single tile-of-100 can be used to teach the fundamental concepts and the four operations related to whole-number and decimal operations in the base-10 number system.
